January 19, 20,21, 2021 10am-2pm EST, with optional project specific meetings on January 22nd 

*Much like an in-person meeting, our days may run slightly longer or shorter than this when accounting for technical issues, optional meetings, and general discussion


The January 2021 IAB meeting is fast approaching! Our January 2021 meeting will be virtual in an effort to continue to curtail the spread of COVID 19 & respect the health and wellness of our attendees. The meeting will take place over three, half-days.

Based on feedback from our last meeting & newly available software for OSU, we will be utilizing Microsoft Teams for the January 2021 meeting. 

Agenda: The finalized agenda was updated January 17th, 2021.

Ma2JIC’s biannual meetings are an opportunity for students, faculty, and industry members to gather and hear updates on current research projects, discuss the state of the field, and develop future projects and partnerships. 

Registration & Meeting Connectivity: Once you register you will receive the meeting calendar invitation with the virtual meeting connection information. You will receive a confirmation email with the meeting invitation attached and the registration confirmation page will have two additional methods of savings the calendar invitation/connection information. The connection information will not be made public, so please remember to register and save it. Please do not forward the meeting invitation to others, it is very helpful to Ma2JIC to have an accurate list of attendees/registrants.

Familiarizing yourself with MS Teams: If you haven’t found yourself using Teams much lately, it may serve you well to review this quick tutorial. You do not have to install Teams to utilize the video meeting functions, you will be able to in a web browser. Additional information and best practices specifically for our meeting will come out prior. With technology on our side, you’ll be able to ask questions, participate in discussion, and interact with students!

Document Access: All members, students, and faculty should all have access to Box, where documents for the meeting are kept. This will include student presentations, posters, and quad charts. Along with project proposals & presentations, and other important documents. 

Reporting In-Kind Donations: Please report any in-kind donations that you, as an industry member, may have contributed in the last year. Please complete this simple form which helps us track your support of our Center. This information is crucial to provide to NSF as an example of our broad industry support, beyond monetary contributions.

As a reminder, non-members are permitted to attend one IAB meeting before becoming a member in order to understand Center operations and learn more about the organization. If a representative from your company has attended a meeting in the past and your organization is not a member you generally will not be permitted to attend another meeting.
